The Dai travels in obedience to Allah's direction to spread Eman and make it dynamic. To enliven Deen and for the spiritual and religious fulfilment of the community's expectations it is necessary for the Dai to travel.
Aqa Maula (TUS) is the first Dai to have undertaken extensive travel in India and the world. Most of the year is spent traveling for the good and benefit of his followers who have settled in different parts of the world. He has since the Moharram Wayaz in the year 1399 at Jamnagar, revolutionized the observance of Moharram and the significance of Matam. It has become a major annual international event for the Dawoodi Bohras. Each year, with the Taeed and Ilham of Imam-uz-Zaman (A.S.), Aqa Maula (TUS) chooses a venue where he observes the ten day Moharram retreat to renew and rekindle the revered memory of the martyr of Karbala, Imam Hussain (A.S.) and Ahle Bait. The Dawoodi Bohras from all over the world congregate and the physical presence of Mumineen ranges from thousands to millions.
It is indeed worth noting that during his hectic travels Aqa Maula's strict discipline and conduct governs his routine. It is inspiring for his followers and teaches them to conduct their lives accordingly.
During the course of his travel to different countries Aqa Maula (TUS) has been the ambassador of goodwill, peace and harmony. He has met various Presidents, Prime Ministers and other dignitaries and has been received with honor by the Government of various countries.
Aqa Maula (TUS) has continuously traveled from east to west, continent to continent to be in the midst of his followers. Love and care showered by him enables followers to prosper and progress in foreign lands and at the same time remain steadfast to their Deen and preserve their culture and heritage. For the first time in the history of Dawat, a Dai set foot on the soil of North Africa, Commore and Reunion islands and North America. It is indeed memorable and significant. London has been the recipient of Aqa Maula's (TUS) gracious Nazarat, being blessed with over 40 visits. The western world, including North America has due to numerous visits by him been radically changed and owe their sajadatus shukr for his nazarat and constant attention and guidance, which has enabled them to adhere to the Shariat and Deen.
