Shehzaada Muffaddal Bhaisaheb had once said that the zameen where Aqa Moula holds the Asharah is no less then the zameen of Karbala.
And so Karachi became Karbala this year in 1417 H. as Aqa Moula (TUS) unfolded the zikr of Imam Hussain (A.S) to an overwhelming audience of about 65 thousand mumeneen held rapt in attention amidst cries of Yaa Hussain, for nine consecutive days.
And the Benevolent Father called out to his children and said .... Qayamat naa din agar tame chahtaa hoi ke tamaro khaimo Qayam-alaa- zikris-salaam naa Khaima naa nazdik hoi, to aa khaima maa avi jao.
Waaz was relayed to several cities all over the world incl. Masjid-e-Aqsa in Bait-ul-Muqaddas. In all over 6 lakh mumeneen heard Aqa Moula's bayaan on different days.
Aqa Moula again and again stressed the importance of Mataam of Imam Hussain (AS). Esp. on the day of Aashurah, that even a sick man unable to get up from his bed, or a 6 month old child, or even a child born today should not be mehrum from the barakaat of Maatam.
Mumeneen did a lot of Mataam every day after Waaz and after the majlis in the evenings.
The eve of Aashurah presented an unforgettable sight as Aqa Moula ascended on a specially errected platform just outside the Qibla and stood for a few moments in front of a jam-packed masjid and did mataam. Time stood still. Truly, it was the night of Qayamat. Then Aqa Moula sat on a chair on the platform and briefly narrated the Shahadat of Aqa Hussain (AS) followed by purjosh maatam and noha. One was reminded of Imam Ali Zainul Abedin (AS) when he sat on a chair in Baitullah and narrated the Shahadat.
When speaking of Asharah in Karachi, mention must be made of the superb and flawless arrangements made by the Karachi Jumaat. Working tirelessly, (some of them for 24 hrs) at the airport sorting passport and visa problems for Indian passports, at the mawaaid, registration, transport, security etc. they all seemed to derive divine energy.
Like Aqa Moula said that when heavy steel beams arrived for construction of the tutak for ladies in the masjid young boys in no time carried all of them up 2 flights of stairs in the masjid. Said Aqa Moula (TUS) .. "....Aa sagli Hussain ni mohabbat chhey."
One only had to say that he/she was a zuyuf (mehmaan) and a host of volunteers would be willing to help you out. This Karamat began at the airport as soon as the zuyuf landed and his baggage was whisked away by eager scouts.
As Aqa Moula said in one Waaz. "... ke tame maari karaamat to karo chho, pan jeh mehmano ave ehni bhi ghani karamat karjo ... eh saglaa bhi maara farzando chhey."
By the vasila of Panjetan Pak and Imam-uz-zaman may Allah grant a long life till the day of Qayamat to our beloved Aqa Moula (TUS).
And may we all get the sharaf of being with Aqa Moula (TUS) in Asharah allways.
